ABOUT THE AWARD
The Pharmacy Guild of Australia/GSK National Pharmacy Assistant of the Year (PATY) Award is the most prestigious award for Pharmacy Assistants in Australia. The Award is open to all Pharmacy Assistants who have been working in pharmacy for two years or more.

Pharmacy Assistants can nominate themselves or can be nominated by a third party (e.g a manager, customer, colleague, industry representative). For details on how to nominate see below.

THE PRIZES

National Winner:

• Cash prize of $5,000
• Pharmacy Guild training course of your choice valued up to $5,100*
• Assistance in writing a monthly column for PostScript Magazine

State Finalists:

• Flights & accommodation for the Pharmacy Assistant National Conference on the Gold Coast
• Public speaking training

JUDGING PROCESS

All nominees will be contacted by 23 July and advised if they have been chosen as a State Finalist.

Successful nominees will be invited to attend the State Judging Day in their state or territory. The State Judging Day consists of a workshop session where participants will be judged on their industry knowledge and experience, leadership skills and product knowledge.

The Judging Day is a great opportunity for personal and career development and to meet fellow Pharmacy Assistants.
