QCPP Refresher Training
From 1 April 2010, QCPP assessments have a new requirement whereby pharmacy assistants and dispensary assistants who are involved in the delivery of Pharmacy Medicines and Pharmacist Only Medicines must demonstrate that a minimum of three hours of training on the delivery of these medicines has been conducted for each year after the initial training has been completed. This training is referred to by QCPP as Refresher Training.
The Pharmacy Assistant National Conference is a QCPP Approved Refresher Training event that will provide a proportion of the training hours necessary for you to meet the minimum requirement. Information regarding the exact number of hours that can be accredited from attending the conference is currently being finalised. These details will be listed here when they become available.
