Welcome Reception
Thursday 17 October 2013, 5.00pm – 7.00pm

Featuring an ice-break activity, the Welcome Reception provides the perfect opportunity to meet fellow delegates and make new friends. This function will be held in the Trade Display area, allowing you to also meet with suppliers and view the exhibition before the conference officially begins on the Friday morning.

Once again, attendees will be able to choose from one of two local restaurants in Surfers Paradise to enjoy dinner following the Welcome Reception with fellow delegates, Guild staff and suppliers.

Chiangmai Thai Restaurant (Thai - shared banquet)
Stepping into Chiangmai Thai restaurant is like stepping into a little piece of Thailand, with authentic hand-carved furniture, wood tableware and utensils, Thai statues and a relaxed atmosphere all contributing to the effect. However, it is the food that really attracts people to Chiangmai Thai with its range of flavoursome dishes all served with a smile.
Cost:   $45 per person (excluding drinks)

Benihana Japanese Steakhouse (Japanese – teppanyaki)
At Benihana Japanese Steakhouse, a selection of traditional meals are prepared on a teppan hot plate built into each table, creating a stage for the highly trained and talented teppanyaki chefs to provide an exciting dining experience.

Conference Dinner
Friday 18 October 2013, 7.00pm - 11.30pm

Unleash your inner rock star at this year’s Conference Dinner by dressing up as your favourite rock idol. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. Dinner includes live entertainment, a 3 course dinner and drinks.
