The 2017 Pharmacy Guild of Australia/ Maxigesic Pharmacy Assistant of the Year Award has received more nominations than ever before.
The Pharmacy Guild of Australia National President, George Tambassis, said it was terrific to receive a total of 633 nominations – the highest number of nominations yet!
“It’s great to see so many owners, pharmacists, managers, colleagues and customers recognise the work of dedicated pharmacy assistants throughout Australia.” Mr Tambassis said.
General Manager (Aust) of Award sponsor AFT Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd, Calvin MacKenzie said that the organisation is pleased to partner with The Guild to recognise and reward pharmacy assistants.
“Pharmacy assistants provide a vital link in our healthcare system, providing advice, care and support when we are at our most vulnerable.
